I’m not necessarily a skeptic, but I had to overcome preconceived notions to finally go to an appointment like this. . . . something I’ve wanted to do for years. My session with Laura was unlike other readings I’ve had; it was an experience based in feeling rather than the learning of a laundry list of facts. I entered my reading with Laura with the intention: “Attain answers; remember to direct her to tell you what you need to know.” Within the first ten minutes of our session I realized how my agenda was not enabling my growth. Laura eased me into a state of receptivity; I was no longer trying to force answers. I allowed insights to come to me through intuitively “feeling out” the points Laura was bringing up. I had never met with a spiritual therapist before. Laura Anthony had invited me at my earliest convenience. Our schedules eventually aligned and I went. There was no vague generalizing in my reading. Specific references were made, simply by stating them. No questions were asked of me, in order to extract any info. None of that. I was offered some exotic coconut tea, however. Tasty and smooth.

Without going on and on into all the personal details of my reading, I was advised to focus attention on my second chakra. The one which grounds me to reality. My highest chakra, the crown, is highly developed. Full of creative energy and imagination. My problem is I tend to drift and not focus my discipline in the practical world. Something I’m more aware to change now.

My upbringing came into context. The fears that developed and passed from my parents. Lack of money, that there wasn’t enough. The feeling of unworthiness. This stemmed into my trait of over-helping everyone and their mother, before I take care of myself properly. Balance is key, in everything. Even nurture.

My third eye was loosened along with some pressure points on my spine, where the chakras are lined. After leaving, I was filled with a lot to contemplate and review within myself. I feel great and more clear in what I need to do to move forward.

I highly recommend Laura Schwalm. She was understanding, gentle, honest and so very insightful through her connections. I felt her being able to read me just through her gaze. She’s a beautiful soul.

Thank you so much for the clarity you provided me about where I was, especially since with all my work, I thought I was clued in to everything. I tried to get off the phone but couldn’t seem to vocalize my desire to do that, and as I surrendered to staying on the call, listening instead of arguing, I gained a great deal of wisdom.
